Which Software to choose…
ScrappyDew.com is an affiliate of both Make the Cut Software and Sure Cuts A Lot. Both are great programs and we have tutorials on them both. It comes down to user preference and what operating system you want to have it on. We started out using SCAL and now use MTC. Both the Make the Cut and Sure Cuts A Lot page we show you the features that each have.
MTC just launched their version 4.0 and Sure Cuts A Lot has launched their eClipse software. Both have their strengths, we always suggest that you download the trials of each (they are free to try) and do some test cuts. Keep in mind that neither software works with Cricut Machines. However there's good news Cricut Machines aren't the only cutters on the block. You have machines such as BlackCat Cutters, KNK, US Cutters..etc.
There isn't any way for us to alter the price of these programs and neither can any other affiliate. So we try to sweeten the deal. If you decide to purchase either software from ScrappyDew.com email us via our request form and we can send you access to our top 10 Pattern Products as a thank you for purchasing through our links.
Make the Cut software is Windows Only program. If you own a Mac and would like MTC you would have to use bootcamp or some sort of virtual machine like VMWare fusion or Parallels.
Sure Cuts A Lot has a Windows and works with Mac OS Software. You purchase for the specific system. The registration code will not work in both platforms.
