You must have Robomaster Software, CutePDF writer in order to get a PDF file. You will then need Inkscape so you can read the PDF file it creates, which will allow you to save it as an SVG file.

Here are the links in which you can get these fine software programs all of it is Free and Legal.

Inkscape

Here are your steps to follow
• Open a GSD in Robomaster.
• Click on the Output Setting icon in the toolbar.

The Output Setting Window opens.
  1. Choose your PDF Printer (CutePDF)
  2. Make sure Print Cut Lines is check marked
  3. Click Output to Printer

A new window will open: Output to Printer

Copies Block : 1
Make sure ALL is selected
Then click
OK.

When the window opens, you can choose a name and place where you would like to save it. Just a suggestion you should keep the same name as the GSD. This should help with organizing files

Now your vector PDF will get created.

Next you want to convert it to SVG, so there a number of things you need to do in Inkscape

  1. Open PDF in inkscape
  2. Select All (Edit> Select All or Ctrl +A)
  3. Ungroup (a lot of times until there aren't any groups left.) Ctrl+Shift+G
  4. Simplify Paths (Ctrl+L) if you want. This may help clean up nodes
  5. Save your SVG
  6. Import in to SCAL or MTC
